If you're just shopping around for parts and looking for a bargain, tell me upfront. I'll tell you if I have the parts and how much they cost. Then you can choose to buy it or not. I won't give it another thought.

If you're having a hard time finding a part and you need some help, let me know. I have many friends who have all sorts of rare and hard to find parts. In fact, there's a network of us. If I don't have it, I can find it. Of course, if you continue to look for it on your own, please let me know if you find it first, so I don't have to keep looking.
